Essential Caravan Maintenance
Maximise the caravanning season by taking advantage of our in-house caravan maintenance service over the winter months. Frequent and regular maintenance of your caravan ensures holidays free from annoying and expensive mechanical glitches, plus increases your safety and that of your passengers and guests.
Running Gear Safety Inspection:
Price: Single Axle - £78.50 (plus parts) Double Axle - £98.50 (plus parts)
Brakes, wheels and tyres serviced (adjusted and lubricated as required); coupling head, damper and breakaway cable serviced; corner steadies checked and greased; jockey wheel checked and greased; running lights, 12N and 12S system check, gas pressure test and free carbon monoxide detector .
Damp Test: Price: Full damp test with report - £30
This should be completed if you suspect that your caravan’s outer skin may be leaking. This inspection is recommended prior to the expiry of the caravan’s waranty as damp and moisture may often remain unseen at the early stages. Repairs can be costly but should be covered by your manufacturer’s guarantee. Don’t leave it too late!!
(All inspections are completed using non-invasive moisture testing equipment)
Tyre test, inflation, check or replacement – Price on request
Winter Drain Down: Price: - £20
Prevent the damage caused by frozen pipes and boilers.
Complete drainage of your plumbing system and toilet (including safe gas disconnection)
Caravan Winterisation/Storage Preparation: Price - £45
Ensure your caravan is in tip top condition when you pick it up, hugely reduce the effects of damp, mould, rust etc... (see our storage tips or call for details)
